The Crosstimbers Ranch is a multifaceted organization focusing on all of the
joys of the outdoors. Our mission is to bring affordable environmental education
to the public. Or rather - bring the Public to environmental Education. Too
many of us forget that there is a whole magical world to be shared out there.
We spend our days in offices or in front of T.V.'s. It's time to take our lives back
and challenge ourselves to learn how to do the things we dreamed of when we
were to young to realize that things only happen if you make them happen.
It is through incredible programs like the Master Naturalist Program, Project Wild,
Project Learning Tree, The Leopold Education Project, and Project Wet that we
have come to "Remember" how much we love being outdoors and discovering
new places and new things. We want to share these experiences with you. In
addition to these wonderful programs, we have had the awe inspiring opportunity
to work in the field of wildlife rehabilitation for many years. We have come to
know and understand the wild world that surrounds us and want to try to share
those same experiences with others. Whether you are looking for the education
to truly enjoy the outdoor, you are searching for the courage to "GET OUT"
more often, or you have the desire to learn about our native wild species ~ We
have a program for you!
Educational opportunities at the Crosstimbers Ranch are open to individuals or
Groups. All Sessions are field heavy and will require appropriate age and attire.
We schedule both sessions quarterly and would be happy to set up Private
lessons or special events. What can you discover at the Crosstimbers?
