| Working with Wildlife is a dream come true for us. But PLEASE keep in mind that MOST of the animals that come in to us NEVER NEEDED our help. Most have been kidnapped because someone with a kind heart convinced themselves that the wild animal that they accidentally stumbled across must have been orphaned. 99% of the time, this is NOT the case. PLEASE be SURE that a wild animal TRULY needs your help before you touch it. Just because YOU don't see it's Momma does not mean It's Momma doesn't see it. If you are not sure - Call the DFW Wildlife Hotline and ask for help! 972-234-WILD (9453). Animals brought to us under these circumstances use up valuable scarce resources that need be used on the animals that truly DO need our assistance. If the animal is injured, bleeding, parasite ridden, or obviously struggling - please contact us immediately. The pictures below show some of the animals that we have had the honor of working with. It takes GREAT understanding, patience and trust for most of these animals to allow us into their space. They are wild and they can be very dangerous. We NEVER take them for granted - and we NEVER forget that they born wild and meant to live wild. Always. No Wild animal should EVER be kept as a pet.
